A Quiet Revolution is a Humanist charity based in Scotland. Our key mission is to promote the values of Humanism. We do this by:
Conducting meaningful personal ceremonies
Gifting celebrant services through referrals from our charity friends
Enriching our natural environment with tree planting and wildflowers
We’re out to change the world, one ceremony at a time. Everything we do is guided by kindness.
Marking life’s big moments in meaningful ways.
Every time our celebrants help a couple craft a wedding or a family plan a funeral, we find out who they are and what matters to them.
If they want a big show, we’ll help them turn up the volume. If they want a quiet, intimate exchange, we’ll help them get it right.
A No-Cost Ceremony?
We provide no-cost ceremonies to those most in need, referred to us by other charities.
We believe everyone deserves dignified ceremonies to mark their life events.
We have previously received referrals from fellow charities Caledonia Cremations and Gift of a Wedding.

We aim to plant a tree for every ceremony we conduct. Thereby honouring the cycle of life and the earth that sustains life.
The climate crisis is real. The natural environment needs trees and it needs them more urgently than ever before.
