Better to Givey and receive

We’ve just set up a Givey page to raise funds to help families who had to forego a ‘proper’ funeral during Lockdown.

One sad outcome of the Covid-19 pandemic is that families have not been able to hold the funeral they would otherwise have had. Many people have missed the chance to say goodbye. We want to fix that.

Help us raise funds for the Humanist charity A Quiet Revolution to cover the cost of a celebrant to craft a memorial ceremony. Once we can have larger gatherings again, families can have a get-together at home, outdoors or in a local hall. A celebrant will help share stories, pay tribute, celebrate a life. You can raise a glass and say goodbye properly. 

And if your family is scattered, we can do it on Zoom. We'll create a lovely space for the event. A gathering in real time and space.
