Organising a funeral
Our Celebrants carry out funeral ceremonies and memorials like ash scatterings.
Most people only plan one or two funerals in their life, so it’s natural to feel anxious if you are in charge of plans. Don’t worry. We can calmly take you through a planning session to help.
What YOU should do next
You can contact us before or after you’ve spoken to the Funeral Director. We work independently of them.
There are just 3 easy steps:
Have a look at the profiles on our Celebrant page to choose your celebrant.
Contact the celebrant direct to check if they’re available and start the conversation.
If you’re not sure who you want to help, use our Quick Date Checker and we’ll get back to you. Just put a rough date in if you haven’t decided yet, eg
What WE will do
We will organise to meet with you and those involved in planning to talk about what sort of send-off you’d like. These meetings can be held online or in person. If there are family in other parts of the world who want to contribute, it can help to meet on Zoom at one time.
We will lead you through a ceremony plan, asking questions, taking notes, building up a picture of the person who has died to pay tribute to them.
We will gather in stories and thoughts from those who want to contribute and craft a script from your words. We will share the script with you and make any changes to get it right.
We will be there on the day and deliver the ceremony we’ve planned together.
We’re happy to talk, no obligation, if it’s helpful to understand more about how we can help. Contact us.
