Your Wedding Ceremony

Your celebrant works with you to create a unique, personal, meaningful and legal ceremony that fits your style and values.

We start with a blank sheet, lots of experience, ideas, prompts and ask lots of questions to co-create the event together.

How we work

There are 3 easy steps:

1) Your chosen celebrant will offer a quick ‘chemistry check’ on Zoom so you can ask basic questions and get a feel for the celebrant. No cost, no obligation. We will quote for our service, tell you about essential deadlines for legal paperwork and explain how we work.

2) If you choose to go ahead, we’ll schedule a planning meeting around 6 months before your wedding. This is when we get to know you and help you craft your unique ceremony. 

3) We will write a draft script and share that with you for comments. It’s very much your script, so don’t feel shy about making changes. We’d expect to bounce it back and forth two or three times before it’s finalised.

On the big day

Your celebrant will turn up bright and early to get set up and liaise with others helping with the ceremony - eg venue team, musicians, photographer.

We’ll check in with you to make sure you are steady and happy.

Your celebrant will make sure the Marriage Schedule is correctly signed and left in safe hands for you to return to the Registrar.

You just have to turn up, sparkle and enjoy!
